I was asked how I write Policy and Procedure documents quickly.
In the old days (like, last year!) I would access government departments like the Privacy Commissioner to get advice on privacy policies – or go to one of these legal websites that offer to write your documents for you for a fee.
But these days I use ChatGPT to help me get the first draft. Great to get ‘something on the page’. For policy and procedures ChatGPT gives you a really good start.
I wouldn’t use ChatGPT for legal documents but for Human Resources like docs – ChatGPT is a good start.
Obviously don’t take any of this as legal advice, I am not a lawyer.
After all, how much does a lawyer need to review the “Office Close Procedure”?
